Hello Reader,

This elegant holiday card showcases the NEW Modern Christmas Designer Series Paper by Stampin’ Up!—a stunning mix of bold black, chic gray, and luxe gold foil accents. With just a few layers and a clean design, you can create a card that shines with style and sophistication.

​

measure & cut (from bottom to top):

card base:

  • Basic White Thick Cardstock: 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2

layers (from bottom to top):

  • Gold Foil: 4 x 5 1/4
  • Modern Christmas Designer Series Paper: 3 3/4 x 5
  • Modern Christmas Designer Series Paper: 3 3/4 x 2
  • Gold Foil: 2 3/4 x 4 1/2
  • Modern Christmas Designer Series Paper: 2 1/2 x 4 1/4
  • Basic Black Cardstock: 3 3/4 x 3/4 (before cropping)

stamp:

  • Use a Clear Block or Stamp Positioning Tool to stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink onto the Basic Black Cardstock layer that has been rubbed with an Embossing Buddy.
  • Cover with Gold Metallics WOW! Embossing Powder.

crop:

assemble & adhere:

  • Burnish the fold of the card base with a Bone Folder.
  • Layer and adhere all layers as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • Tie a bow of Black & Gold Baker's Twine, securing as shown with a Mini Glue Dot.
  • Adhere the cropped sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals.

embellish:

  • Embellish with 5 Black Neutral Matte Dots.
