​Yesterday’s simple sketch gets a fresh new look with five clean and simple cards featuring all five NEW 2026–2028 In Colors! I paired the gorgeous Floral Spray 3D Embossing Folder with the NEW Words & Wishes Bundle for an easy combination that adds texture, softness, and bold sentiments without a lot of fuss. These cards are a wonderful reminder that a simple layout, beautiful embossing, and fresh color can do all the heavy lifting. Which new In Color is calling your name first?

measure & cut (from bottom to top):

card base:

  • Basic Beige Cardstock - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4 (top)

layers:

  • Basic Black Cardstock - 5 x 3 3/4
  • In Color Cardstock - 4 3/4 x 3 1/2
  • Basic Beige Cardstock - 3 x 1 1/2 (before die-cutting)

stamp (clear blocks or stamp positioning tool):

  • Stamp the sentiment (Words & Wishes Stamp Set) in Black Ink (Hybrid, Memento, etc) onto the Basic Beige Cardstock.

crop, cut, assemble, adhere & embellish:

  • Burnish the fold of the card base with a Bone Folder.
  • Adhere the Basic Black layer to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  • Zip the In Color Cardstock through a Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) tucked inside the Floral Spray 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Double wrap the In Color Cardstock layer with Linen Thread, securing with a bow as shown.
  • Adhere to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • Crop the sentiment with a Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the coordinating Words & Wishes label die. Adhere as shown with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • Embellish with the coordinating In Color™ Dots.
