Hello Reader,

Bold contrast, elegant layers, and beautiful butterfly detail come together in today’s clean and simple card based on yesterday’s sketch! The NEW Golden Glow Cardstock adds a warm, modern touch against the striking black accents, while the delicate Floral Flight Accents create gorgeous dimension and movement. measure & cut (from bottom to top):

card base:

  • Very Vanilla Cardstock - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4 (side)

layers:

  • Basic Black Cardstock - 3 3/4 x 5
  • Very Vanilla Cardstock - 3 1/2 x 4 3/4
  • Golden Glow Cardstock - 2 1/2 x 5 1/2 (before cropping)

stamp (clear blocks or stamp positioning tool), crop, cut, assemble, adhere & embellish:

  • Burnish the fold of the card base with a Bone Folder.
  • Layer and adhere the Very Vanilla and Basic Black layers together and to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • Crop the three rounded rectangles from the Golden Glow Cardstock with the Rounded Rectangles Punch.
  • Stamp the sentiment in Black Hybrid ink onto the top of a rectangle as shown.
  • Adhere the three rectangles to the card as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (top and bottom) and Stampin' Dimensionals (center).
  • Adhere the floral accent die-cuts as shown with snipped-to-size Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • Embellish the butterflies with three Golden Glow In Color Dots.
