A FREE Card Tutorial JUST for My Subscribers! This Happy Birthday card pairs cozy texture with clean design, featuring 1" strips of the Need for Tweed Designer Series Paper arranged in a modern grid layout. The sentiment, from the cheeky Not 29 Anymore stamp set, takes center stage on a die-cut from the Nested Essentials Dies. A touch of linen thread and neutral embellishments complete this polished look—perfect for the stylish guy in your life!

measure & cut (from bottom to top):

card base:

• Basic Beige Cardstock: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4

layers (from bottom to top):

• Basic Beige Cardstock: 5 1/4 x 4
• Basic Beige Cardstock: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 (final cut to 5 x 3 3/4)
• Need for Tweed Designer Series Paper: 6 x 1 (qty 1), 5 x 1 (qty 4), 3 x 1 (qty 4)
• Basic Beige Cardstock (sentiment): 4 1/4 x 2 (before die-cutting)
• Early Espresso Cardstock: 2 x 1 1/2 (before die-cutting)

envelope:

• Need for Tweed Designer Series Paper: 5 3/4 x 2 1/4

stamp:

• Use a Clear Block H or a ​Mini MISTI​ Stamp Positioning Tool to stamp the sentiment (Not 29 Anymore Stamp Set) in Early Espresso Classic Ink onto the Basic Beige sentiment layer.

crop:

• Use a ​​Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine​​ (Standard) to crop the sentiment and Early Espresso layers with the 3 7/8 x 1 3/4 and 1 5/8 x 2 1/4 Nested Essentials Dies.
• Use the round Hole Punch to crop the hole on the left side of the sentiment.

assemble & adhere:

• Burnish the fold of the card base with a Bone Folder.
• Adhere the Basic Beige layer to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
• Adhere the 1" strips to the 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Trim with a Paper Trimmer to 5 x 3 3/4.
• Adhere the two die-cuts together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

embellish:

• Thread a piece of Linen Thread through the hole and secure with a bow.
• Embellish with 3 Basic Beige Neutral Matte Dots.

envelope flap:

• Adhere the 5 3/4 x 2 1/4 Designer Series Paper to a Basic White Medium envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. TIP: Add glue to the flap, not the Designer Series Paper.
