Sunday Bonus Tutorial: Two Fall Cards in Under 10 Min!

Hello Reader,

Need two beautiful fall cards in a flash? Today’s Sunday Bonus Tutorial features two warm and wonderful cards you can create in under 10 minutes! The Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper does the heavy lifting, while Cajun Craze and Early Espresso add rich autumn color. A simple sentiment and rustic twine are the perfect finishing touches!

WHAT I LOVE! The gorgeous Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper is the star and makes these cards quick and easy! Simply change the pattern and sentiment to create two different looks with the same clean layout. The rich Cajun Craze and Early Espresso layers add the perfect touch of fall warmth.

measure & cut (from bottom to top):

card base:

  • Basic White Thick Card Stock: 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2 (side)

layers (before die-cutting/punching):

  • Cajun Craze Cardstock: 3 1/4 x 4 3/4
  • Early Espresso Cardstock: 3 x 4 1/2
  • Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper: 2 3/4 x 4 1/4
  • Basic White Cardstock: 3 x 2 (sentiment)

envelope flap:

  • Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper: 5 3/4 x 2 1/4

stamp (clear blocks or stamp positioner):

  • Stamp the sentiment (Radiant Sunflowers Stamp Set) in Early Espresso Classic Ink onto the Basic White sentiment layer as shown.

cut, assemble, adhere & embellish:

  • Burnish the folds of the card base with a Bone Folder.
  • Layer and adhere the Designer Series Paper, Early Espresso and Cajun Craze pieces together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  • Wrap with Early Espresso Neutrals Jute, securing with a bow on the left side.
  • Adhere to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • Use a Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) to crop the sentiment with the coordinating Radiant Sunflowers die. Adhere as shown with doubled-up Stampin' Dimensionals.

envelope:

  • Adhere the 5 3/4 x 2 1/4 Designer Series Paper to a Basic White Medium envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Tip: Add glue to the flap, not the Designer Series Paper.
