Yesterday I shared a new Newsletter Exclusive Sketch—and today it’s dressed for Christmas!

This classic holiday card features the Holly Jolly Branches Bundle from Stampin’ Up! A forest of Mossy Meadow evergreens takes center stage against layers of Basic White and Cherry Cobbler, while touches of gold add just the right amount of holiday shine.

The scalloped frame provides a crisp backdrop for the trees, and the gold-embossed sentiment—“Let’s get into the holiday spirit”—brings everything together beautifully.

WHAT I LOVE! The mix of clean layers, traditional Christmas colors and metallic accents. It feels festive and elegant without losing that simple, polished style I love.

measure & cut (from bottom to top):

card base:

• Mossy Meadow Cardstock: 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2 (side)

layers (before die-cutting/punching):

• Basic White Cardstock: 3 3/4 x 5
• Gold Foil: 3 5/8 x 4 7/8
• Cherry Cobbler Cardstock: 3 3/8 x 4 3/8
• Basic White Cardstock: 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 (scalloped)
• Mossy Meadow Cardstock: 5 x 4 (for all trees)
• Basic White Cardstock: 4 x 1 (sentiment)

envelope flap:

• Texture & Tone Designer Series Paper: 5 3/4 x 2 1/4

stamp (clear blocks or stamp positioning tool):

• Stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink onto the piece of Basic White Cardstock that was rubbed with an Embossing Buddy. Cover with Gold Metallics WOW Embossing Powder, set with a Heat Tool.

crop, cut, assemble, adhere (from bottom to top) & embellish:

• Burnish the fold of the card base with a Bone Folder.
• Layer and adhere the Gold Foil & Basic White cardstock together and to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
• Use a Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) to crop the Basic White layer with the
  3 1/4 x 4 1/4 Scalloped Christmas Cheer die.
• Crop the sentiment and trees (1 small, 2 each of large) with the coordinating Holly Jolly Branches label & tree dies.
• Layer and adhere the Sscalloped die-cut to the Cherry Cobber cardstock together and to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
• Adhere the die-cut trees as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin' Dimensionals.
• Tie a bow of white Baker's Twine and adhere as shown with Mini Glue Dots.
• Adhere the sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals. TIP: Double-stack the dimensionals above the tree adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
• Embellish with 5 Gold Adhesive Backed Dots.
