Fresh, playful, and just a little nostalgic, today’s newsletter exclusive hops in with a retro color twist on yesterday’s sketch. This sweet card features the Stampin' Up! Easter Basket Bundle, complete with darling bunnies tucked into a woven basket and a cheerful “hello, spring” greeting.

Best of all, I’m sharing a FREE step-by-step tutorial so you can recreate this happy little scene with confidence and ease.

measure & cut (from bottom to top):

card base:

• Basic White Thick Cardstock: 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2

layers (before die-cutting/punching):

• Basic White Cardstock: 3 3/4 x 5
• Pretty Peacock, Lost Lagoon, Soft Sea Foam, Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze: 3 3/4 x 1 strip (each color)
• Basic White Cardstock: 3 3/4 x 5
• Basic White Cardstock: 3 1/4 x 4
• Pretty Peacock, Lost Lagoon, Soft Sea Foam, Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze: 3 x 1 3/4 (each color for basket weave)
• Basic White Cardstock: 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 (bunnies)
• Basic White Cardstock: 2 1/2 x 1/2 (sentiment)
• Pretty Peacock Cardstock: 2 x 1 3/4 (bow)

stamp (clear blocks or stamp positioning tool):

• Stamp the two bunnies in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto the Basic White layer.
• Stamp the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto the sentiment layer.

crop, cut, assemble, adhere & embellish:

• Burnish the fold of the card base with a Bone Folder.
• Adhere the 5 strips of colored cardstock onto the Basic White layer about 1/2" from the bottom in the order shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Adhere to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
• Crop the following with a Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard):
  • Basic White 3 3/4 x 5 Layer - 3 1/4 x 4 1/2 Perennial Postage Die
  • Basic White 3 1/4 x 4 Layer - Basket Weave Basket Die
  • Stamped Bunnies - Coordinating Basket Weave Dies
  • Colored Cardstock - Basket Weave Strips Die
  • Pretty Peacock Cardstock - Basket Weave Bow Die
• Crop the sentiment with the Three Banner Punch.
• Color the bunnies ears and nose with a Petal Pink Light Stampin' Blend.
• Thread one of each colored cardstock strips through the basket weave as shown. Adhere the strip ends (front of basket) in place with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
• Adhere the bunnies to the back of the basket and the basket to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
• Adhere the bow with a Mini Glue Dot.
• Adhere the sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals.
• Embellish with a white Natural Matte Dot.
