FREE TUTORIAL! A Slimline Card with Party Banners Dies!

Hello Reader,

Fresh, cheerful, and full of pattern play—today’s slimline card brings yesterday’s sketch to life with a banner-style design that’s both simple and striking. I mixed prints from the Lovely & Beautiful Specialty Designer Series Paper (now restocked!) to create a soft, coordinated backdrop, then layered bold die-cut letters using the Alphabet À la Mode Dies (last chance at a great price!) to spell out a friendly “HELLO.”

The Party Banners Dies and Three Banner Punch make it easy to build this playful layout, while a touch of twine and a sweet sentiment from the Woolly Friends Bundle (recently restocked) finish it off with just the right amount of charm.

The 2024–2026 In Colors are officially heading toward retirement, which means it’s time to grab your favorites before they disappear. Peach Pie, Petunia Pop, Shy Shamrock, Pretty in Pink and Summer Splash have been such a fun, fresh palette for card making—and once retiring items start selling down, they’re gone for good. Some products in these colors are already showing low inventory or SOLD OUT, so if you’ve been meaning to add refills, cardstock, Designer Series Paper or embellishments to your stash, now is the time to shop before they sell out.

Retiring soon = time to revisit your favorites. Check out past projects featuring the 2024–2026 In Colors and grab your must-haves before they sell out.

Hello Reader, Today’s card is a perfect example of how one layout can tell two completely different stories. I CASEd a soft, spring-inspired sample from Stampin’ Up! and gave it a bold, high-contrast makeover using deeper tones, texture, and a striking floral focal point. Same foundation… completely new feel. The original design features a light, airy palette with soft patterns and delicate florals—perfect for a gentle “hello.” I kept the signature trio of arched panels (such a great design...

Hello Reader, If you love a clean design with strong texture, this one checks all the boxes. Today’s card pairs crisp layers with subtle embossing and bold die-cut details for a look that feels both modern and timeless. I love how the Gears & Textures Dies create a bold focal point while still keeping everything crisp and simple. By layering the gears in Basic White over a subtly embossed background, the texture does all the work—no extra color needed. The banner from the Banner Sayings...
