Exclusive Tutorial: A Chic Fun Fold Featuring Brushed with Beauty

Hello Reader,

This week’s subscriber-exclusive tutorial puts a fresh twist on a Stampin’ Up! idea I just couldn’t resist CASE-ing. Their gorgeous sample showcasing the new Product of the Month Designer Series Paper (below) sparked today’s clean and simple fun fold — and I couldn’t wait to recreate it with the Brushed with Beauty Suite. The angled panels, layered florals, and soft botanical dies come together beautifully for a layout that looks intricate but is truly simple to make.

Scroll down for your step-by-step instructions and measurements… exclusively for my newsletter subscribers.

crop & cut:

  • Make a tic-mark on the left side of the front panel, 3" down from the top.
  • Cut the angle on the card base by lining up the tic-mark and the top of the 8" score line with the cut channel of a Paper Trimmer. (or you can cut with a steel ruler and craft knife).
  • Use a Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) to crop the following using the Petals of Beauty Dies:
    • Mossy Meadow Two-Tone Cardstock: greenery dies (front and inside)

  • Inside Designer Series Paper:
    • Make a tic-mark on the left side of both Designer Series Paper pieces at 1 3/8" down from the top (unless you are using the same side of two-sided piece, then you will make tic-marks on the right side of one piece and the left side of the other).
