A Perfectly Pear Tutorial & A Must-Have Color Tool!

Hello Reader,

Say “Hello” with pear-fect charm! Today’s project features the new Perfectly Pear Bundle—part of the Painterly Pears Suite Collection—a fresh favorite from Stampin’ Up!’s latest release. I love how this clean and simple design lets the bold line art of the pear truly shine. Paired with a stitched sentiment tag, a sweet twine bow, and a single accent dot, it’s proof that less can truly be more.

card tutorial:

measure & cut:

card base:

  • Basic White Thick Cardstock: 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2

layers (from bottom to top):

  • Basic White Cardstock: 3 1/2 x 4 3/4
  • Night of Navy Cardstock: 3 1/8 x 4 3/8
  • Basic White Cardstock: 3 x 4 1/4
  • Basic White Cardstock (sentiment): 2 x 1 (before cropping)

stamp:

  • Use a Clear Block or a ​Mini MISTI​ Stamp Positioning Tool to stamp the pear and the sentiment (Perfectly Pear Stamp Set) in Night of Navy Classic Ink onto the coordinating Basic White Cardstock layers.

crop:

assemble & adhere:

  • Burnish the fold of the card base with a Bone Folder.
  • Adhere the pear, Night of Navy and Basic White layers together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • Thread a piece of white Baker's Twine through the hole of the tag, securing with a bow. Adhere with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

embellish:

  • Embellish with a Night of Navy Opal Rounds.
